Default italian job blu ray collectors vs walmart

I ordered The Italian Job Collectors Edition https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-I...ob-Blu-ray/36/ from Best Buy but they sent me the Wal-Mart version https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-I...Blu-ray/71937/ I have looked and can't seem to find any differences. Does anyone know if there is a difference and if so, what are they?

Thanks.

As far as I know, there is no Collector's Edition. Best Buy just copied the wording from the DVD, which does have a CE. There should be no differences between the two BD releases, aside from cover art.

edit: I'm reading the official Italian Job thread and there was discussion of Paramount reissuing the disc with a better encoding, but I think that was just internationally.

From my thread:

Italian Job, The (2003)
US/UK - MPEG-2 2.38:1, DD 5.1 640 kbps, extras (Region free)
DE - VC-1 2.35:1 22.6 Mbps, DTS-HD MA 5.1 2287 kbps 16-bit, no English subs, extras (Region A/B)
JP - AVC 32922 kbps, 2.35:1, Dolby TrueHD 1663 kbps 16 bit, English subs BD-50 (Region Free)
FI/SE/DK/NO/NL/FR/ES/IT - AVC 35838 kbps, 2.35:1, DTS-HD MA 5.1 4031 kbps 24-bit, BD-50, no extras (Region Free) Best PQ & AQ

If you really want this buy the Nordic release as it's probably the cheapest.

I'm sorry HD Goofnut but I'm not understanding. Are you trying to say that those are the specs on both discs, and there are no other features that are different between the 2 releases?

Goofnut unnecessarily confused you.

All US discs are exactly the same. You're going to have to import if you want the best quality.

Mifune Fan, steve dave and indy thanks for helping me to understand that there really is no differences between the wal-mart and best buy versions of this movie of the u.s. release (other then the cover art).

Now I just need to get best buy to understand that they are sending out wal-marts stuff. lol. Yes I am that bored. I need a life lol
