Inspector Barnaby (aka Midsomer Murders) - Blu-ray Forum

Have done a forum thread search for the TV series Midsomer Murders and there were two search results (one thread each, started in the North America and Movies folders). Noticed when searching Blu-ray.com's A-Z index for Blu-ray releases of Midsomer Murders, that a Blu-ray set was released in Germany in early October called Inspector Barnaby: Volume 21.

Having checked the rear boxart (it's not very clear) it appears that the German Blu-ray set is region free. Has anyone here got this Blu-ray set? Is the transfer and audio quality similar to or the same as the US Blu-ray set with the same four episodes in it?

Amazon Germany has a pre-order listing page up on it's website for an Inspector Barnaby: Volume 22 Blu-ray set. The release date is stated as Friday 23rd January next year.

English SDH subtitles on German release?

Was going to ask if the German Blu-ray releases of Midsomer Murders (under the alternative title Inspector Barnaby) were still continuing. Have checked Amazon.de and found that Inspector Barnaby: Volume Thirty-Five is being released in Germany two weeks today (Friday 24th January). This volume is comprised of the last three episodes from the most recent series (Series Twenty-Four). Below is the Amazon.de Blu-ray listing page link, followed by the front cover artwork:

A twenty-fifth series of the show will be filmed this year (found this out late last year on the official Midsomer Murders Facebook fan page).

If there is anyone here who has the last few German Blu-ray releases, can you confirm that there are no English subtitles please.
