I'm a complete noob when it comes to streaming content. I recently purchased a Sony BDP-S790 as the first piece of my HT set up, and I'd like to begin studying about all of this. The reading I've done so far points to VUDU because of the HD quality of it's movies.
Any other suggestions? Thanks! ![]() |

http://www.amazon.com/gp/video/ontv/faq#whatQuality I'm sure they'll step up their game before too long though, especially with as hard as they're trying to expand the Prime Instant Video to be a larger Netflix competitor. |

If they really wanna compete with Netflix or VUDU or anyone else, they need to make an Amazon Instant Video app available for Android tablets and phones. I know they value the marketshare of the Kindle Fire, but ultimately the real money will be made from selling content.

I know Ill get the movie in vudu if its available. Many are. I just wanna make sure that I dont get downgraded to an SD version if I dont redeem through them. Sometimes My friends give me a code that they dont know what its for. To redeem in Vudu, I have to know the title first. If I dont know it, I can redeem it through Flixster.com/getuv without the title.
