do you think the 'The dark knight rises' icon statues are worth the price?
anyone ordered them?
are they limited edition?
and whats the quality like? lol

These icon statues are made by DC Direct. I'm assuming they are made out of polystone material, so they won't feel cheap. It terms of detail, I would probably go for a Hot Toys.

Hot toys are in the same scale (1/6th), but you will be able to move them because they have lots of articulation. So you won't be bored of the pose that a statue would have. They are priced around the same as those icon statues.

It's really up to you

Could not be bothered getting those, if you wan't quality then go for the Hot Toys versions when they get released!

I definitely will get the Hot Toys versions of the Dark Knight Rises. I already pre-ordered the Batpod, Joker 2.0 and very soon Batman.

I have the batman statue and it looks great, and I love that you can also pose the cape.

Batman and Catwoman look great. i own a batman tdk 1:2 scale bust by same company (dc direct) and the quality is impeccable

Those are awsome, I also sugest the dark knight statue from kotobukiya, great pricing, and looks awsome too:

The problem with Kotobukiya's Dark Knight statues is that the prototype pics look phenomenal, but the paint on the final product lacks big time. They don't respect the black/grey suit, they just threw in the colours so they'd have some grey.

Plus, the cape is normal on all statues, not bat-like.

I've got 2 Icon statues, 1 of Batman and 1 of Bane breaking Batman's back and all I can say is these are fan ****ing tastic. Worth the price.

I have them as well and I think they were worth the price. I paid $100 for each of them last year.

I got Bane for my daughter on her 17th birthday last week. She loves it!

She's not really interested in the other two, but I'll be getting those for her anyway.

The Batman vs. Bane statue was a bit more costly since it's 16" tall and much thicker than the other Icon statues.
