I've played maybe 2 hours of this game. I'm learning the trade aspect and jotting down each port and what their 5 top commodities are. I don't know if they stay the same no matter which game you play or not. Here's a sample of the list I'm making;
Port au Prince 1. Bricks 2. Sugar 3. Textiles 4. Metal 5 Tobacco Tortuga 1. Sugar 2. Hemp 3. Cotton 4. Tobacco 5. Rum Pensacola 1. Textiles 2. Metal 3. Cotton 4. Dyes 5. Bread Port St. Joe 1. Sugar 2. Textiles 3. Metal 4. Dyes 5. Bread I'm not really sure how valuable having this data even is. I only set up one trade route before I turned off the game. Maybe if you had a trade route that picked up every type of item with the fewest stops minimizing travel costs? I'll play more tonight. But so far, I really think I'll enjoy this game. I love playing these games. |
