Default Outlaw Audio Model 975

Just curious if anyone had experience with the Outlaw Audio Model 975? It looks like a great basic pre-amplifier. Most of everything you would want minus Audyssey room calibration and balanced audio outputs. I would imagine that this coupled with a descent sound pressure level meter, some patience, perhaps even a Behring Feedback Destroyer to help manage the bass and your subs and you could have a really great sounding pre/pro.

For me personally, I'm a little leary of giving up the balanced audio outputs. Unlike most people I'm actually doing a long cable run to my active self powered speakers, versus just a short patch cable to a power amp. So what kind of performance loss or interference might occur on a unbalanced cable with RCA connection on what could be a 40 foot run, versus a balanced cable with an XLR connection?

Any one see one hear this person yet? Very interested to hear your impressions.
