United Kingdom US sellers on amazon

Hey sorry if this has been asked before but I couldn't find anything. I'm after buying ed wood off amazon.co.uk from a seller called all your music from the USA. The price is around £9.50 plus £1.26 for postage but will this price cover uk delivery? Also should I expect any customs charges?
Thanks guys

They are very good mate, trustworthy. £1.26 will cover the postage to UK and as it is under £15 you won't be hit with customs.

I ordered some Criterion releases at £20 last year and didn't get stung. Others definitely have at > £15 though.

The best way to get an accurate price for the total amount (including S/H), place the item in your cart, and proceed through checkout. Just before the order is confirm, it'll show the exact total amount in USD and Euros, by clicking the switch currency button. Then go back and delete the item from your cart (if you want). If the amount is within your price range, just continue and complete your order.

All your music ships from within the UK sometimes. I got my Zodiac 2 disc director's cut for 7.6 including postage.

I've used them a couple of times and I've always been happy. paul1985 the price you pay with your order for postage and packaging is a set rate, they can't charge you any extra but as other members have mentioned be careful about the limit or contact them first to see how they describe the package or were they ship from (as soon items do come from within the UK).

Same here, no problems. I often buy US discs via the Amazon UK Marketplace using these sellers, & it's all in pounds so you know exactly what you're paying.

And also, some third party sellers on Amazon UK, don't ship international, only domestic.

Thanks guys, you have all helped me out!!!
I've got a totally unrelated question now tho, I have a few slip covers that I don't want as I hate them so rather than throw them away is it worth me selling them? I see a lot of people collect them, also how would I price them?

You should certainly sell them, you could always check eBay to give you an idea what the going rate is.
My guess is most would only go for a pound or so,it really depends on the film, add your postage on top of that but if you don't like them it will all add up.
Kinda like a free Blu-ray every now and again.

Put them in lots on Ebay and let them find their own value.

Put each studio, say FOX, Disney (you could put PIXAR movies separate as well), Warner Bros., SONY et cetera as separate job lots, you might get two or more buyers bidding for different slip covers in the same lot competing against each other, that way unwanted or unpopular slips won't go for pennies.

Or you could just trade them or give them away!

If you have any Disney UK ones I'd buy them if I haven't already got them.

That's what I would do! After Ebay take out their commission, you probably won't get that much for them anyway. I know for a fact that, Amazon's commission rates are ridiculous! If you sell an item for $5.00, they'll take out at least $2.89 for their commission, which is the reason why, I prefer to sell on Half.com, instead of Amazon, even though, Amazon have the largest online clientele.

eBay aren't too bad for commission - they only charge 10% of what the item eventually goes for. I recently sold a few unwanted DVDs on there, and was quite surprised of how much I made (especially make use of the free insertion fees up to 99p).

If Ebay's commission isn't as high as Amazon, then you're good to go. But with Amazon, they're a ripoff. I was going to sell: The Exorcist blu-ray (digibook) for $43.00 on Amazon, and they've calculated their commission to be $10.00... No way!

That is extremely high! You've lost a huge chunk of your profit before you've even received it. Ridiculous.
