Back in the mid 90's. There's been more powerful versions of those characters created since then.

It wasn't a long battle, but that's mostly because they jammed a lot of matchups into a 4 issue mini series. They're not rare so it should be relatively easy to find a copy.

This may also interest you. Its a fan made CGI video of the Hulk fighting Superman. It's pretty awesome. there's two parts, and everyone is still waiting for hime to finish part 3. Like I said though, it's fan made so it's not canon.

The Hulk FTW....Sorry to all you Superman fans but I hate him he is just soooo boring total snoorefest. I hope Man of Steel does good in theater but I have this feeling its going to bomb.

LOL! Guilty until proven innocent

I just find Superman to be extremely boring and almost a generic character in the sense of lets give him every power/strength/flight possible. The few stories I have read just seem lackluster because its like he is a god and basically untouchable. Only thing that hurts him is Kryptonite. I be more than happy to have my opinion changed if someone can point out a good story arc. The only one I found interesting was the Death of Superman from the 90s. Honestly as far as DC goes I really only like Batman and the Flash.

They need to make Hulk extra green with the Kyrptonite to make the fight more drawn-out.

The only advantage I see with the Hulk is that he gets stronger the angrier he gets, so if Superman keeps wailing on him and gets him madder all the time, I wonder if the Hulk could grow as strong as, say, Doomsday? Otherwise, Superman is just too invincible to lose.

Exactly what I was going to say. I think the fight would be long and ugly, but ultimately Superman would prevail. On Earth, he's just too strong to be stopped.

The strongest thing the Hulk has ever done was when he was lifting a mountain while struggling. The strongest thing Superman has ever done was when he lift up 1/3 of the earth!!! So yeah... Superman wins.

Well said. There is so MANY characters from both DC and Marvel that are stronger than the Hulk. I am a huge comic book nerd, which means I love both Marvel and DC Comics.

Here is a list of characters from both universe that are stronger than the Hulk.

1.Superman
2.Martian Manhunter

Thor doesn't need to be in warriors madness to be stronger than the Hulk. He defeated both the Hulk and the Thing with one punch without using it.

Wow, I hadn't realized they had overpowered Thor so much lately. There was a time when Thor was barely stronger than Iron Man.
