Excellent news!! Rod Steiger's brilliant performance deservedly won the Best Actor Academy Award - this has been one of my most wanted back-catalogue titles to reach Blu-ray.

I just watched this for (I think) the first time. I was very impressed. For some reason I had been expecting a JW Pepper type character as the police chief but Steiger played it perfectly.
