Might be something hidden away in options, you never know.

But I like how they've changed the trophy notification so that if you hit the PS Button when it pops it brings up an overlayed detailed description of that trophy. Pretty cool.

Same with Game and Party invites. Much better to be able to do it from a drop down overlay without having to switch between apps.

Notifications that expand with ps button is neat. The only real change I see on the main window is folders (which is welcome!) but very similar.

There are some eagle eyed people who have pointed out that in the first image you can see an RP rating on the Killzone artwork in the folder, and if you notice the BF4 Art changes between pictures. It's just the torso in the first pic, then in the third you can see the legs of the soldier too.

These could just be oversights by whoever at Sony made the mock ups, or it could be the signs that it's fake. I guess we'll find out next week either way.

Looking good, but I wish we could have the option of choosing where our notifications appear. I've always been used to the notifications being on the right of the screen.

Seems like too much effort to be fake, and it would seem to explain why they moved notifications to the left in the last update. We read from left to right, so if there are going to be new boxes appearing then it will be easier to read from the left since that's where we instinctively start at.

Really hope it's not fake. It looks nice and I like the trophy notifications and how you can hit the PS button to get more information like on the X1.

What I want...

Folders or more UI customization
Notification of friends signing on
Themes (or ability to use screenshot as wallpaper)
Pause/resume downloads

These all should have been available at launch. PS3 has all these features.

I'd like:

Folders
Ability to plug in external HD and play videos off of that.
MP3 Playback (although I used it maybe once or twice on the Ps3)
Dynamic Themes

I don't like the horizontal view of the UI. I much preferred the old PS3 one to be honest.

It's been announced as fake i've reading it over on Neogaf. However I hope Sony see this and take note! A lot of people on forums are raving about how much they'd want this and the PS4 could do with an update.

I'm not surprised, it did look fake.

Sony really needs to hurry up and give us more options and features.

It's still a bit up in the air right now, the guy from Reddit saying he was from Sony saying these were fake has now been deleted since there was zero proof he works for them.

Even if they are fake, folders is a welcome addition. Although the only thing that I actually want to be able to do is use external HDD's to store games on like the Wii U and xbox one.
