Hey, I've got a list of some movies I'd like to see on blu-ray. I've looked for them, but haven't been able to find them anywhere. Does anyone know if any of them are available on blu-ray?

Hamburger Hill is available on Blu-ray in the UK, and soon in Germany. No idea if they are region locked though.

Even if it is locked, does it possible mean that it will be made available in North America? I hope so. Thanks for the reply.

No idea about that. I think Lionsgate owns the US rights. For those who don't want to wait and are "region free" can always import. Sometimes the European editions are superior, but not always.

So, I recently bought Hamburger Hill on blu-ray, which narrows down my wish list a bit.

Does anyone know if any of the remaining items on my wish list, which I'll post below, are available on blu-ray and can be shipped and used in Canada? Or, if the studios have any intention on releasing them on blu-ray? Thanks.

Sexy Beast is available in the UK but it's in 1080i. According to this site it's being released in Germany on August 31st, that release might be in 1080p.

Good to know. U.K. releases play on North American blu-ray players, no? I'm pretty sure that my copies of Seraphim Falls and Wild at Heart are from the U.K. (they have an unusual parental guidance sticker on the spine of each) and they play fine. 1080i doesn't bother me, but if it will be released in North America, I could wait.

Awesome! But, it's in French; a beautiful language, but I don't speak it. Provided the movie is still in English and can be played without subtitles, I could live with the cover in French. Can anyone confirm if it's still in English (i.e. voices of the original actors) and can be played without subtitles? Or, on the other hand, whether it is intended to be released in North America.
