Default Receiver callibration.

Hey guys!

So I just got a new home theater system and I would like to know what the best settings would be for movie watching.

The system I got is an Onkyo HT-S4505.

I've had it for about 3 days now and am still messing around

I did the audessy 2 callibration and it wasn't that great. I also had dynamic volume off so that was pathetic lol, I'm in an appartment so I switched dynamic volume on, but I only choose the light setting and it sounds great, I also increased the center level t from -4db wtf? To +7 so you can really hear the dialoge now, before it was overshadowed by the soundtrack and the action.

I had the subwofer level at -12db I don't know I still get a lot of base though, probably from the speakers themselves, so I'll probably increase that very little.

This is my first home theater system, any tips? What does the crossover do? What should I have it at, I think it's at 90 hz at the moment.

Thanks.
