United Kingdom Big Tom Hanks UK Blu-Ray

Does anyone know if the recent UK release of BIG is the same as the Us version which features the extended cut/deleted scenes?

I would guess it is the same but I don't actually know... no information has been entered on Blu-ray.com. It's likely the same exact disc quality/content.

When I first saw this thread I thought you were noting an announcement for a big Tom Hanks Blu-ray set with a lot of his films, which sounds great... but no go.

It is the same. I'm looking at the back of the box right now and under special features it has Extended Feature and Theatrical Feature listed separately, as well as "Deleted Scenes with Optional Intros by Penny Marshall".

Excellent news. This is the first time this has been available in the UK

Many thanks

Does the UK version also include the ENG DD 2.0 (original stereo?) track like the US version?

Hi, which sounds better the DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 or the Dolby Digital 2.0 stereo?
Just wondering as the UK copy only has the 5.1 and I know some older films like the Bond films and the original Terminator sound much better in their original audio.

If the 2.0 is superior I’ll sell the UK copy and import a US copy.
