Amazon says Jack Ryan BD Delayed? - Blu-ray Forum

I've had Jack Ryan in my open orders with Amazon since Aug 19.
Was supposed to be released on Oct 30.
Just got a message from Amazon that it will arrive Jan 7-9.
Anyone understand why Amazon would be sending such info since Paramount says they have canceled all new BD releases?
Why didn't Amazon cancel this order rather than reschedule its release?

What is Paramount telling their distributors and wholesalers by this action?

Unfortunately, the release date for the item(s) listed below has changed, and we need to provide you with a new delivery estimate based on the new release date:

That is strange and I don't know why it's happening, but I was about to feel bad for you until your 4th sentence. I thought you still thought it was coming.

They did the same thing with my Top Gun pre-order. I think it says its supposed to ship in December or something like that. I won't hold my breath.
