Surprised nobody has posted this in the thread of hopes and dreams.

Winner of the Palme d'Or at the 1978 Cannes Festival. 3 hours long.

Looks good on DVD but would be fantastic on blu-ray. Was lucky enough to see it in the cinema. One of my favourite films.

I am sure that the transfer will be great, but the only thing that disappoints me is that the only subtitles that are mentioned in the description are Japanese.
