Default Which BD should I buy: Mean Girls or Heathers?

In order to get Free Shipping at Amazon, I need to buy a cheap BD to get to the $25 mark. I've decided to get either Mean Girls or Heathers since they're both about $10 at Amazon. I've seen Mean Girls and I like it a lot. In fact, I already have it on DVD and would like to make the upgrade to Blu. However, I've heard so much about Heathers and what a good movie it is. The thing is, I haven't seen Heathers, so this would be a blind buy. But I've heard so many good things about it, so I'm tempted to purchase it.

So help me out, please. Which movie should I buy: Heathers or Mean Girls?

Skip both and get The Breakfast Club. It's $12 on Amazon.

Between the two choices, my preferences are strong for Heathers. Another great 1980s subversive flick that cemented my crush on Winona Ryder during my high school days back then.

Goofnut's suggestion about The Breakfest Club is a great option, though.

I wish that someone would hurry up and release Some Kind of Wonderful on Blu-ray.

Yeah, The Breakfast Club is a good movie. But I wish it was $10 instead of $12.

The Breakfast Club is $14.99 at Best Buy down the street, so I'm going to use an Upgrade & Save coupon later this month to bring it down a few dollars.

I realize John Hughes is not the director of Some Kind of Wonderful but as writer and producer his stamp is all over it and I consider it a John Hughes movie. One of his very best and somewhat underrated. I really want a BD also.

Heathers.

Mean Girls isn't fit to lick up Heathers' puke.

Heathers, although you really should try to get the OOP Anchor Bay edition.

What's the difference between that and the current one?

Extras if I'm not mistaken. AB has the dvd features plus a new featurette, Image has nothing (which is weird as their re-issues of Sony titles are the same discs as Sony's, guess they took a different route here). Unless the cover just forgot to mention any extras, no review here and I don't feel like looking elsewhere right now.
Anyone know if one version looks better than the other?
As for the OP, Heathers by a mile.

If the choice is only between Heathers and Mean Girls, I'd choose Heathers without hesitating. But I did just stumble on Say Anything on amazon for $8.99 in case you don't have that one.

Be warned, Heathers looks processed and awful on Blu-ray, either edition.

Heathers is a much better movie. Unfortunately the image on the Blu-ray is constantly shaking slightly, it bothers me so much I haven't watched more than 10 minutes (I originally saw it on DVD, which didn't have that problem).

I'd get Mean Girls.

So, Mean Girls has the better transfer?
