Default FREE Advanced Movie Screenings Thread & Discussion

(United States and Canada Only)
I created this thread to help others who would like to see free advanced movie screenings in theaters.

I'm usually very good at getting them. I know what to search for, what sites to go to (More for my city than others), but I still think I can easily find any of them.

For example, here's a list of some upcoming screenings I obtained.

My list: Tuesday: How Do You Know, Wednesday: The Fighter. Thursday: The Tourist Next Monday: True Grit and the Monday after that Black Swan.

Usually you find screenings on GOFOBO and you always need a code. If you guys need any help, I and hopefully others would be here to help find those codes or other screening information.

So if you find out any advanced screening information (codes, contests, links to passes, what to do to get them) then please post them in this thread.

Again, use this thread for discussion/help and to post any free advanced movie screening information.

I seriously just had a code for Cleveland today for The Tourist... but they're all gone now. I should have made this thread earlier lol.

Wow...I have never heard of that site. I just registered. It looks like all the NYC screenings are filled D:
And just how do you get those codes?

Would you be willing to PM me or post the sites that have been helpful for you? I'm interested in participating but registration seems useless without RSVP codes...

Ouch. They sold out a day ago. If only if this thread was made earlier. Don't lose complete hope, I'm sure more sponsors will be added and I'll keep an eye out.

Well if you want passes to The Tourist.....

Movie details: Wednesday, December 8 @ 7:30pm
Regal Cinemas Phillips Place

To get a pass, stop by Black Bear Saloon on Tuesday, Dec. 7 at noon and get a pass to one of the movies above, as well as a $10 off lunch coupon, which can be applied to your next visit (purchase must be $25 or more)

A code for The Fighter that was listed in Los Angeles: BUZZ4LNU

It's listed as a Los Angeles screening, but when I click it it says "Rancho Cucamonga, CA "- I'm not quite sure how far that is for you. I google mapped it and it said 50 mins, but maybe your close to there?

The Hollywood one is sold out btw. I'll let you know if any more codes pop up.

Rancho Cucamonga is a 15 minute drive for me. Way better than the 30-60 minute drive to Los Angeles. Damn traffic. Sadly I used that code too late. It turned out to be sold out. Thank you, though.

Damn. I should have held a pass for you. I checked the code last night and it was available... My fault. Sorry.

Ok. True Grit and The Fighter on GOFOBO hasn't opened up yet... Wait a few days for that.

Now here's a contest that if you do I'm sure you'll win. I think if you just do it, you'll get your passes on Monday. http://www.setmovieclub.com/movie1.htm

You could get a job at a theater or befriend a movie theater employee and go to employee shows. We watch new releases on midnight on Thursday every week. And the best part is no public to annoy you!
