Now that hmv are up and running again does anyone know if they will be breaking back into the steelbook market and trying to take some of the limelight back from Zavvi etc.

I asked the very same question in-store a few weeks ago to get the reply... "Maybe, but it's pretty much one step at a time at the minute". Which I pretty much guessed and thought was a sensible answer.

Unconfirmed but yes. I popped into the Canary Wharf branch the other day and they have a lot of new steelbooks - loads of Avatars for £9.99, star wars (both), robocop, x-men, silence of the lamb and few others. By new I mean these weren't available during the 'administration days', an obviously the latter ones I mentioned were only recently introduced so they are obviously getting the latest non zavvi exclusive stock.
