The 2011 Peter Chan directed film is finally out from Anchor Bay in the US, but unfortunately, the 115 minute version from Hong Kong/China is not on the disc, but a 98 minute edited version. There are no deleted scenes on the disc. The Hong Kong disc for region A, and the Australian disc for region B are the only ways to get the full film with English subtitles. |

Yea, I figured the HK version is the one to own. Thanks for letting me know the transfer is solid as well. I'm sold.

I'm surprised Martin did not address this issue in his review of the US release, or at least mention that the film is apparently missing approximately 17 minutes from the original HK release. |

I usually make a habbit to check because they mangle the movie in one way or another.
http://www.dddhouse.com is a good place to find a proper release for many asian movies. I have the HK version of this movie myself. |
