CULVER CITY, CALIF. (May 7, 2013) – Experience the suspenseful conclusion of TV’s hit legal thriller when DAMAGES: THE FINAL SEASON debuts on DVD July 16th from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Back as the villainous Patty Hewes is three-time Emmy® and Golden Globe winner Glenn Close, with Rose Byrne (Bridesmaids, The Internship) returning as Patty’s ambitious former protégé, Ellen Parsons. Manipulation and lies come to a head in the show’s combustion-filled conclusion, as Patty and Ellen, on opposing sides, ruthlessly battle it out in the courtroom. With its characteristic dangerous twists and turns, this final season is not to be missed. Damages, which aired on DirecTV to excellent reviews, also stars Ryan Phillippe (The Lincoln Lawyer, Flags of Our Father), and guest stars Jenna Elfman (TV’s “Dharma & Greg,” Friends with Benefits), Janet McTeer (Albert Nobbs), Judd Hirsch (TV’s “Numb3rs”) and John Hannah (The Mummy).

Available as a three-disc set, DAMAGES: THE FINAL SEASON will include all 10 episodes, plus deleted scenes and outtakes. The DVD will also feature a Public Service Announcement (PSA) directed by Ron Howard for Bring Change 2 Mind, an organization founded by Glenn Close that works to end the stigma and discrimination surrounding mental illness.

Glenn Kessler, and co-executive produced by Mark A. Baker. The show is produced by KZK Productions in association with Sony Pictures Television.

SYNOPSIS
To win at all costs, sometimes you pay the ultimate price. In the fifth and final season of the multi-honored legal thriller, powerhouse attorney Patty Hewes (three-time Emmy® and two-time Golden Globe® winner Glenn Close) and ex-protégée Ellen Parsons (Rose Byrne) face off in a fatal double showdown: the wrongful death case against a charismatic, international cyber-hacker (Ryan Phillippe, Flags of Our Fathers), and a devastating custody battle pitting Patty against her own son — resulting in a Series Finale as explosive as it is unexpected. Special guest stars also include Golden Globe® winner Jenna Elfman (Dharma & Greg) and Michael Gaston (Inception).
