AMC is cheap as hell.

Look at how many Showrunners have left, with budget probably being the issue.

Correction: just looked again, Hamm is paid well. Guess it's all about Mad Men at AMC.

One difference between Mad Men and Walking Dead is they have different production companies. Mad Men is produced by Lionsgate, so when Hamm signed a new deal he was negotiating with them and not AMC. Walking Dead is produced by AMC so when it's time for Lincoln to sign a new deal (and who knows how long he's signed for) they could make him an offer and if he isn't happy with it they could just threaten to kill him off.

CBS got Robin Williams for a steal, I see.

And I figured that Spader would getting more than $125,000 a show, seeing how he's a three-time Emmy winner.

I wonder on some of the other networks also. Like Supernatural. I can't imagine Jared and Jensen make less per ep than the bottom of those lists.

It didn't say what "points" where but I'm guessing something along the lines of getting a cut of DVD sales, merch, etc. that type of thing?

That's correct. Similar to how actors can get a percentage of the box office gross when doing a movie.

Percentage points off the gross revenues. It's usually reserved for actors with serious clout or integral to the production, like Tom Welling on Smallville for example.

The list tells me that some actors have better agents than others.

In TV points can mean they get a cut of the syndication revenue. The cast of Friends all had points in their later deals and I read a report a couple years back that each of the cast members was still making about $5 million per year off syndication money. The Seinfeld cast (other than Jerry) wasn't able to get syndication points in their deal, but did get points for merchandise and DVD sales in their final deal. As co-creators Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David have made over $400 million each in syndication money. The voice actors of The Simpsons try to get syndication points every time their contracts are up, but Fox has never given in. To get syndication points you've got to have a lot of leverage because points are going to cost the production company money for as long as the show is syndicated so they are only going to give points to people who could pretty much end the show by leaving.
