Default References in movies

Hi.Am viewing Se7en for the umpteenth time this evening, and noticed that Mills drank Pabst blue ribbon in the movie (When Somerset went to the library).Wondered if it was a subtle reference to Blue velvet.Any thoughts?

Could be nice if people here listed the more obscure references to other arts in movies they've seen.

I'd like to think no one drinks Pabst Blue Ribbon, but alas it just isn't true.

Pixar does a lot of easter egg references in their movies. Total Film compiled a list of 50 of them: http://www.totalfilm.com/features/50...ar-easter-eggs

Default I like this thread.

There is a drawing of Billy the puppet from SAW on the chalkboard in Insidious.
Frank the Bunny from Donnie Darko is posted on fliers in Southland Tales.
