Amazon - shipping - > switzerland

anyone else from Switzerland is upset about Amazon's (.com / .de ) new policies not shipping anymore to Switzerland?

So I'm gonna missing many new (old) movies of bluray/4k, books, and Soundtracks on CD.

I'm also from Switzerland. Just to clarify only the amazon stores not EU will not ship anymore in Switzerland (.com/.jp). Amazon.de/.fr./.it/.es/.uk will still ship to Switzerland.

Here's the message that you now can find when you will proceed with the checkout of an order on amazon.com:

We are unable to ship non-digital items from amazon.com to your shipping address.
Please choose a shipping address that is not in Swiss Customs Union to proceed. Some restrictions may still apply depending on the item.

You can also visit Amazon EU websites (.de, .fr, .it, .es, .co.uk) to access millions of products available for delivery to the Swiss Customs Union.

if you find something on one of the amazon sites that doesn't ship to you, get a member here to purchase it for you then ship it to you from their house/work. you might (probably will) pay a bit more, but at least you'll get a chance to get something you want that may not be sold on one of the other sites.

thanks. I know it's Amazon who's not sending anymore to switzerland. I was told my account was closed because of located in Switzerland.

Fact is, Amazon.com (or the USA) has better release of older movies (blurays instead of only DVDs as we get over here), Soundtracks, movie books :-(

The account is not closed, I think you can still purchase digital media. Also if you have some pendings pre-order they will be honored.
As for the physical media goes Amazon is not the only USA based online retailer that ships internationally. It’s just the most famous one.

I suppose I found a good alternative: Barnes & Nobles

I also don't do Digital media. To much trouble, wasting time with downloading and because it's not compatible.

I did try out the UK and German one....
they don't shipping to switzerland anymore.

Even a simple CD I can't order.

Im actually done with any orders for media based from international and will delete any profiles movie/cd/book based.
