I just found out about this version, and have a quick question for anybody who's bought the UK version of "Space Battleship Yamato" and is willing to do a quick (one-line) subtitle comparison to the HK and Australian versions.
Here's a line of dialogue that's mis-translated: @0:58:20 "You've seen lots of them" ...which is Mori Yuki's response to Kato's statement that this is his first time seeing an alien fighter up-close and personal (this is when they're all gathered in the hangar and inspecting the captured Gamilas' fighter). The better translation would have been "First time? What are you talking about?" I'm not holding my breath, but here's hoping they were smart enough to use a new/proper translation. Thanks in advance! |
