Bit of good news for this release. It will contain the uncut version, (as well as theatrical) which breaks an ongoing trend of only releasing a cut version (I'm looking at you Hercules and The Equaliser).

Was considering getting the Zavvi steelbook for this but might just go with the amaray if it comes in that red case.
Same for '71 with the black amaray.

I'm tempted to pick this up today. It's one of those movies that i enjoyed but I've found myself thinking of it much more fondly in retrospect.

The slip does indeed look great. I wish the movie was a little shorter, 2 hours felt a bit stretched to me.

it's a horror comedy with a dose of pathos. The tone is fairly unique in that it goes from blackly comic to dark horror. If you like supernatural horrors you may enjoy it. It's not nearly as goofy as Piranha or Mirrors but then not as gritty or effective as Switchblade Romance or The Hills Have Eyes. Radcliffe is very good in it. The concept is quite unique too.
