There's a Japanese blu-ray coming out, but I doubt it'll look any good.

I'm going to buy the OOP Arrow DVD at some point until Richard P. Rubinstein drops his iron clad hold on this, DOTD and The Night Flier.

GasmaskAvenger, why wouldn’t you just buy the blu ray that’s coming out? Is the HD master supposed to look worse than the Arrow DVD?

I can’t stand watching anything in standard definition since I upgraded to a 4K TV.

Japan is known for putting out upscales with certain titles that didn't have HD masters available due to rights shenanigans. Thus, they usually have to make do with whatever they have from the rights holder there or from whatever materials are available to work with.

Money burns a hole in my pocket for MARTIN and THE NIGHT FLIER on bluray.

The sooner these films are released on bluray the sooner I can can give the owner my money.

Let's get on with it.

The sooner we hear anything about Richard P. Rubinstein's company ether selling their titles off or get desperate enough to do a deal with someone, the sooner we'll see them on BD.

Watching the "Wampyr" cut right now (since my copy of the Immortal Edition Arrow DVD arrived two years ago) and...it's a real trip.

Almost like an entirely new movie altogether with the Italian dubbing, the rearrangement/trimming of scenes and the liberal use of Goblin's "Roller" album as the score.

Ordered a copy of the Japanese Blu-ray from DiabolikDVD today.

I think there's only 2 left on their site, so act fast if you want it!
