Smile Are some of your Blu-rays still sealed?

A few weeks back someone made a comment on how ridiculous it was that some had sealed blu-rays in their collections. I wanted to know if anyone else had sealed blu-rays in their collection like i do. I probably have some 30 or 35 sealed blu-rays. I buy them and then when i get around to watching the film, i go ahead and open the blu-ray. Anyone else?

Even though I can not possibly play them in my car (yet) I open them before I get home.
Why? I have no idea!

I buy them to enjoy them as well, I just don't go opening them as soon as i buy them. I just put them in my collection until the day i decide to watch them.

Same for me, with the exception of when I get deals online. But even then, a few days tops upon arrival.

To the TS, here's some data for you too from a recent thread.

Yep, I'm just starting my collection and haven't had time to watch them all. No sense in taking off the shrink wrap until I have to watch them.

I buy a lot of movies like the OP-- but I do always open them immediately
because the longer the movies sit, the more difficult it is to remove the
glue from the plastic that seals the case--

it's great that so many people here have the time to watch movies asap and
when I was a lot younger I had oodles of time as well--
but when you have a family, a job with a lot of hours, etc -- there is no way
I can watch all my movies right away... when I see a good price for a movie
I want I'm gonna buy it-- even if it means I might wait months before
actually watching the movie

I find this topic humorous lol. My family always gets blu-rays to watch and we always open them when we get home. It's not like we're made out of a lot of money to just buy some and keep them sealed for collecting purposes. I saw someone on here had FIVE copies of The Dark Knight.

I have a bad collecting habit, so yes. I own about 120 Blu-Rays, and about 25 of them are still sealed.
