Really?

I have watched this tonight, not expecting very much but was pleasantly surprised.

If you enjoy Guillermo del Toro's work you won't be disappointed IMO, the final twenty minutes represent this film at its weakest as is often the case with horror films.

Those who like old school scares should enjoy this.

Thought it was pretty bad, Seen it all before. Reminded me too much of Darkness Falls.

I (actually) enjoyed Darkness Falls as a rental...

I saw Mama in the cinemas. It was poor.

Really dug this movie until the final moments. Thought the kids were excellent and it built up tension well. I gave it a 7/10 and will pick it up once it drops in price.

Same here. I really enjoyed it, but the last 20 minutes or so is where it lost me. Will definitely get this (hopefully with slipcover) but I can wait until it's possibly in the HMV 5 for £30 or something.

First hour is really great, then it slides into shitsvile at break neck speed. It started out an 8/10 and ended up a 1/10.

My partner asked me to pick this up and, be warned, ASDA had all the Blu-ray copies slipless with a massive ass spider tag over them that practically dented the amarays.
