Resurrected (1989) - Paul Greengrass - Twilight Time

I got this BD yesterday and saw there's no thread for it here, though there is a review.

It's an excellent early film from Paul Greengrass, his first theatrical release, about a soldier in the Falklands War who returns to the UK after having become separated form his unit, only to be labelled a deserter. Interestingly, Greengrass would do a TV film a few years later called "The One that Got Away", about a soldier in the Gulf War who also gets separated from his unit. That film is available in the US on DVD.

The BD from Twilight Time looks great, especially considering it's an obscure 1989 British film. The transfer is flawless, though there's no grain at all, so I don't know if perhaps it saw some DNR work or something.

I can't compare it to the US DVD, available through Amazon exclusively. However I own the British DVD, and the BD transfer is 1000x better. Aside from the PAL-speedup of the UK DVD, it's dark, murky and the colors are washed out.

The BD also includes the two retrospective interviews, each about 15 mins long, with Greengrass and star David Thewlis, which appear on the UK DVD.
