Default HOSTEL/HOSTEL 2 Audio problem?

Hey all,

Has anyone who bought the recently released "Hostel" 2-Pack on Blu had an audio problem?

It seems once Paxton goes into the bathroom at the end they play the audio of the "child being kidnapped ending" instead of the "Paxton kills businessman" ending, when what I'm clearly watching is Paxton killing the businessman.

Is there a way to fix this? Please help.

You are not alone!I also have a defective blu ray!!The exact same problem.For the last scene,we can hear the audio of the director's cut ending,the one when the guy screams Saskia!!Pretty weird audio error!I think i'm gonna send an email too!

I've been looking for a copy of this. I guess I should probably wait this one out. I did get Hostel on my birthday for $5 at Wal-Mart. Was wanting to get the double feature to compare between the Sony and Mill Creek double feature.

Got an e-mail back this morning saying they would send me a replacement disc. Obviously they are aware of the issue. Just shoot them an e-mail at support@millcreekent.com

This is the e-mail I received:

I don't have this 2-Pack but, this doesn't surprise me. Mill Creek have screwed up discs in the past. Thankfully, they are really good with customer services and replacing discs.

Received my corrected copy yesterday. It was a brand new copy, sealed. I checked and the audio issue has indeed been corrected. The corrected version has a difference on the cover. It now mentions in the bottom left corner in a small bubble that there is an alternate ending feature. They also sent me a two-Blu-Ray pack of America's National Treasures. I have to say, this is fantastic customer service!

How does Hostel 2 look on this one compared to the original Sony bd? The original was way too dark, is it the same transfer?

Both films have the same transfer as the Sony discs.

I recently bought the 2 Film version a couple days ago and after reading through this thread I'm having second thoughts. The main reason why I bought this version (I already have the originals) is because of the new DTS-HD MA audio track. And plus I'm a big fan of the Hostel films (still disappointed that part 3 is not on blu-ray). Will I hear an improvement over the original audio track (PCM)??
