Fair warning, this isn't a typical comedy like The Hangover or Napoleon Dynamite, it's a very dark comedy. It's closer to something like Fight Club or American Psycho.

Loved every oddly dark moment of this movie.

I was really enjoying this in the first half but then it got really bizarre in it's second half. Almost a complete tonal shift.

That cover, especially the placement of the dog, looks like it was part of someone's "My First Photoshop" project.

Agreed. It just moved into an alternate earth where

. The seams were showing in the writing. The exposition was a bit too obvious and clunky.

I'm not opposed to black humour. In Bruges did it really well. But this movie, not so well. I really wanted to like it, but was disappointed. And how can you have Imogen Poots as the female co-star (sort of) and not make use of her talents? She seemed wasted.

I thought the shift was kinda awesome, and the character development was quite deserved.

Just watched this. It was a good dark comedy, but I saw the ending coming a mile away.

Anyone else? Totally predicted that the

Thought that was obvious, but other than that, solid little comedy.

Loved this film...one of my favorites of the year. I saw it in the theater with just one other couple inside and they clearly didn't get the humor. Lots of grumbling on the way out. I thought it was hilarious through and through. I don't understand how Alessandro Nivola isn't more famous; he was outstanding. I picked up the disc this week and am looking forward to revisiting it this weekend.

I still enjoyed the movie but the second act caught me off guard, like I mentioned before it has an almost total tonal shift from the entire movie. I can totally understand how it is awesome and quite surprising for the viewer.
