Default Gamestop will stop accepting PS2 trade-ins on June 1st

Gamestop will stop accepting PS2 for trade-in and in-store credit as of June 1st according to a photo taken at a Gamestop store.

This will include PS2 consoles, controllers, games and accessories. Some Gamestop stores have already stopped accepting these though as of June 1st all Gamestop stores will stop accepting PS2 merchandise They will still be selling PS2 games, consoles and accessories though.

The PS2 has been going strong after launching in 2000 and becoming the #1 sold console of all time with 150 million units sold. Sony has stopped manufacturing PS2 models last December.
