United Kingdom National Treasure (Robbie Coltrane) Channel 4 Drama

Just saw this article on the BBC about a forthcoming Channel 4 miniseries National Treasure, starring Robbie Coltrane and Julie Walters. Apparently, it's based on the Jimmy Saville / Operation Yewtree business, and Coltrane will play a celebrity who is charged with historical sex abuse crimes. It was written by Jack Thorne, who also co-wrote The Last Panthers and the three This is England miniseries.

I'm a huge fan of Robbie Coltrane, and especially Cracker, so him starring in an adult drama is irresistible for me. I'm even going to politely e-mail C4 to beg for a UK Blu-ray that won't happen (But hey, maybe it's been licensed for video to Dazzler, StudioCanal or Universal/Playback?! Well, I can dream, can't I...). But dammit, I will buy the UK DVD AND the German Blu-ray when they arrive. Hopefully, the former comes soon enough, at least.

This is supposedly on starting later this month, in four parts. Anyone over there planning to give it a watch?
