Sale dates on items in PSN Store???

Why can't they put how long something's going to be on sale/free or special? Finally had some money and I went last night to get Portal 2 and Tomb Raider and the prices were back up to normal!!

Sure would be nice to know what the window is!!!

That would be handy. I just always assume it's a one-week sale.

Though for future reference, the PS+ blog posts mention what free games/discounts are leaving PS+.

I've always wondered this as well. It is a strange practice to not advertise sale dates. I'd imagine that having the purchaser know when the purchase has to be made by would result in many more transactions. I know that if I miss something on PSN because the price went back up without any notification to me, I sure as hell am not buying it at full price.

Seriously, though, why would they tell you? If you're never sure when the sale ends, you're more likely to buy it now rather than waiting until the last day.

Besides, they do tend to advertise the really big sales like the Spring sale or E3 sales. Look for press releases on those.
