Decoding Die Hard Blu-ray

20th Century Fox has released the documentary Decoding Die Hard (2013) on Blu-ray as a pack-in bonus disc in the following releases:

This documentary features newly recorded interviews with key personnel from the first four films in the series, including directors John McTiernan, Renny Harlin and Len Wiseman, as well as actors Alan Rickman, William Sadler, Jeremy Irons, and William Atherton, Reginald VelJohnson and De'voreaux White. Bruce Willis is absent.

Confirmation:

This disc is region-free.

The documentary is comprised of seven featurettes, which can be played all at once, or individually, via options in the main menu.

The disc also includes theatrical trailers (one each) for Die Hard, Die Hard 2: Die Harder, Die Hard with a Vengeance, Live Free or Die Hard (AKA Die Hard 4.0) and A Good Day to Die Hard, all of which are presented in 1080p.

The documentary is entirely in English, and this Blu-ray edition contains no subtitles.

Thanks for the breakdown. I want to get one of the standalone releases to get the bonus disc and pair it with the Die Hard steelbook, which I still need to get. I wanted the extra documentary but didn't really want the four-film set as I can't stand Die Hard 2 and I've already purchased the others... but I do want the first one as a steelbook.

I had to get the first one because it would've looked odd on my shelf having the second or fourth on it's own instead. At least with having the first one it won't look out of place

Agreed, it is indeed a fantastic documentary.

For me, the Die Hard series died after with a Vengeance.

I couldn't agree more! It's a shame that they had to turn McClane into a superhero after the third installment.
