Germany The Red Riding Trilogy

The Red Riding Trilogy Blu-ray PRE-ORDER

Originally broadcast on Channel Four in the UK, The Red Riding Trilogy (2009), consisting of 1974 (Julian Jarrold), 1980 (James Marsh) and 1983 (Anand Tucker), will be coming to Blu-ray in Germany on 18 October. Courtesy of Studio Canal.

According to the distributor's listing, this will be a two-disc Blu-ray set, with English and German DTS-HD MA 5.1 audio tracks, German subtitles, and the following extras:

Quote:
Deleted scenes
Behind the Scenes
Interview with Julian Jarrold
Making of
Booklet
Trailers
Wendecover [Reversible cover]
Note: In the UK, the trilogy was released on DVD in 2009, and 4dvd have not revealed any plans to bring the series to Blu-ray.

In the United States, IFC Films released the trilogy on Blu-ray as a single BD-50 (with a DVD of extras) with 1080p video and Dolby Digital 5.1 audio. This edition is REGION A LOCKED.

There are also Nordic Blu-ray releases of the trilogy as separate discs. These are three BD-25 discs with 1080p video, DTS-HD MA 5.1 audio and no extras. There are also some encoding issues with these discs. This edition is region-free.
