I have a LGBD670 (LG 3D) blu-ray player. I've never had any problems playing BD discs from my personal library. However, it seems more often than not, I have problems with rented BD discs skipping or getting stuck. This happens even when the disc appears to be in near-perfect condition. Cleaning the disc doesn't make a difference.
Are certain models of BD players known to be finicky? I'm trying to figure out if I might have better results if I switch to a different player. In the past, I had a DVD player that could play just about anything quality disc you could throw at it, scratched, smudged, etc. I've also had a DVD player that was finicky and would only play DVDs in pristine condition. So I was wondering if I might be in a similar situation with my BD player, that I have a finicky model. Does anybody else have significant trouble with rented BDs? |
