A cover will print up fine on an 8.5" x 11" letter-sized sheet of paper.

I print my covers using the program Nero Cover Design.

Get your covers here.

http://www.cdcovers.cc/

When you search select Blu-ray or DVD cover.

I really would like to know this myself, the paper I find in the stores is just to thick.

paper type shouldn't matter since it's slipped under the plastic cover. If you must have something close ask for 80# gloss text

You can simply go into Kinko's and use their computers yourself. Bring your files in on a thumb drive. Any kind of paper works fine. I use semi-gloss, but glossy works fine too. Thickness isn't a huge issue since you're slipping it under the plastic of the cases. Check the first post in the custom covers thread. There's a link for detailed Kinko's printing instructions that I typed up.

Old topic I know but found it on google.

I have a image I want to take to kinkos and print for a standard blu ray case. I cropped it and have it read to go but my problem is I dont know what size to make it so I can just go in and print it out.

Im using MS paint and all I can see in the resize menu is pixels. Anyone know what pixels by pixels I should make it so its the right size?

Never done this before so I am clueless.

Some Kinkos will not print it. It may be best to use Staples or some other place.

The cheaper Kodak glossy photo paper works great for me. Its not to thick. Comes in a 25 pack. Item #1912369.

If you have a decent photo printer (and if not, why not? as they're under $100) you can download the Undercover10 cover printing software online and just print it yourself using one of their templates. It covers a variety of covers, individual templates can be made/adjusted, the software is free, and it takes the guesswork out of printing. For around $140 you can get a very nice Canon 7700MG series printer that will print great covers and can also print directly onto discs. Pick up glossy brochure paper and you're all set and never have to worry about what kinkos will and will not print for you.
