Thanks! Prefer that to the slip but it's all personal preference of course.

Am hoping for the best for this film but so far the ads look like they're aiming for Kick-Ass but are coming across more like Kick-Ass 2 - the jokes seen emptily "edgy" without any wit. Hopefully it works best in context (though given how crazy the internet has gone over the film I know I'm in the minority).

Aside from this Zavvi one, in the thread someone said HMV have listed a SB as well. But for me this slip cover looks the best.

I'm so cautious about this film... If they get the tone right it could be a cult classic like Kick-ass or Scott Pilgrim but all the trailers and the promotional work appears that it just seems to be going for cheap private parts jokes and toilet humour. For a film that boasts itself as a adult comedy with an 'R' rating the jokes seem to be purely aimed at 11-13 year old's... who cant see the film.

Going to wait to see what the reviews say before i make the decision to see this.

Hate that cover design, they seem to have forgotten the background.

+1. I don't like Marvel films at all but I was intrigued by the sound of this one and its darker flavour (I love Watchmen!). But...then I watched the trailer. Jeez. I think this film may annoy me more than the other Marvel films! Yeah lets make a superhero who manages to talk like a smartarse teenager. Im sure kids will love it. I don't think I will!

Just out from a preview of this. Believe the hype, its outstanding. The best 20th Century Fox Marvel movie to date in my opinion.

Also, for what it's worth, given the amount of gore & profanity in it, no way is this a movie aimed at kids. Perfectly captures the spirit of the Deadpool comics.

Got tickets for the first showing in Carlisle tomorrow at 12.10.

The hype has been deflated for me after reading some reviews. I've enjoyed Reynolds of late though, especially The Voices, so fingers crossed.

The reviews are up and are slightly more fair than i thought they where going to be, i've read a lot of "this is the best film ever ZOMG!!" but equally there seems to be some critics who have fallen into "it's good but has problems".

Probably will see this at some point but i'm still trying to see Spotlight and The Big Short before they leave U.K Cinema's.

The trailers for this were awful, didn't laugh at any of the jokes unfortunately. My GF really wants to see it so i told her to go with her brother lol. However if i hear great things about the action i may be tempted to check it out. So far though i've ready that there is very little action in it which is a shame.
