Default DIGITAL BITS: PS3 BD-1.1 in late December!

If this has been posted elsewhere, then my apologies.

We're hearing that the BD-Java 1.1 firmware update for the PS3 will be released in late December, just in time for the first Blu-ray software titles set to employ it, and the full 2.0 update may not be far behind.

Makes sense
Aslong as it comes *1* day before 1.1 movies come out, that should be soon enough for everybody. Having 2.0 soon after is nice as well.

That being said, Im in the mindset that "the sooner the better, to shut HDDVD fanboys up" even if it cant be used

they'll still argue it, I had to debate a HD-DVD fanboy who was telling me BD40 haven't been used yet, and just some saw someone post about TL51 claiming that "At least Blu fanboys can no longer argue that they have better bitrate." I find it fun to debate them when they know what they are talking about but lots of them don't understand the technology or don't stay current, so we can have Profile 2.0 for a year and I bet you'll still find some one to suggest BD is still waiting for Profile 1.1 lol
