Default SteelBook™ loaner

Do you guys loan out movies to friends? If so, do you DARE lend them a steelbook?

I personally don't let them borrow the case, but I do put the disc in a spare amaray case for them.

Just curious if anyone here dares to let the steelbooks leave their premises?

I've never been asked to, but if I was, they wouldn't be borrowing the case, that's for sure.

Anything of mine that comes in a steelbook, digipak, box set or whatever, I usually place in a jewel case as I trust nobody!

I hear ya. I used to loan my DVDs to my sisters and get them back with finger prints or sometimes the case would be beat especially the slipcover.
Once I made the move to bluray, my babies don't leave the house at all.
And no one at all even people in the house are allowed to touch any steelbooks.

I do the same...they cost too much to chance them being banged up......its one thing if I do it...

Now if someone does borrow a movie I let them sign it out and they have 2 days....its rude to borrow a movie then after a week they still haven't watched it....that's how you miss movies so I do the 2 day rule.I figure if they don't want to watch it in 2 days they can go buy it and watch it when they want to.

I'd never lend out the steelbook itself, they movie disc in a generic case, i would. I actually only have 2 people that i lend any of my blu's out to. One is my sister, and the other is one of my friends, that both take good care of stuff. I
