To be honest, I'm not even entirely sure what I'm asking. I guess is what would you chose?
I have my computer and my 47" TV hooked up together in the same room. I had a ps3 hooked up to the TV to handle all my blu-ray needs, but after its death I got a Sony BDP-S5100, as well as a BD Writer for the PC. (about a month ago) I've recently become fascinated with ambilight and its clones, and I am planning to create one for my TV, but it only works through the PC. So should I sell the Sony and just play everything tru the PC with software like power DVD, and hold off till the next gen consoles come out ? How good is the software implementation over the sony? I will lose the convenience, but gain that sexy lighting lol |
