This is a real movie, but it's not even listed on IMDB or Wikipedia, lol.

I was going to pick this up yesterday, but then I had a bad feeling when I thought about it a little more

Sounds like it wasn't a bad idea to avoid this one, based on that review. I was hoping for a street-brawling The Raid: Redemption, but it sounds like this is not quite up to snuff in that department.

Have you seen it?

Did you see it for a good price somewhere?

Here are two other reviews:

http://theadmiralscorner.blogspot.co...-disc-yue.html (I agree with this one as the movie is more of a drama than an actioner.)

Well, good price considering other new releases, but still not a comfortable price for a blind buy. It was $14.99 for the Blu-ray at Best Buy, I think

Those are some interesting reviews... I might be a little more persuaded to try it now that I'm not looking at it as a Raid kind of movie

I picked it up yesterday, $10 and some change after U&S.

This was a blind buy for me, but I like supporting Well Go USA and for the price it was worth it. The movie is definitely heavy on drama, has a pretty awkward and IMO forced romantic angle and relies a lot on flashbacks to add some depth to the protagonist.

The fight scenes which are in the movie were pretty damn good, and by the end of the film I was satisfied with the level of action. I think this was a fine coming-out party for Yue Song, and he showed a ton of potential in putting together a script, acting, choreography, etc.

For a Raid type movie, outside of the upcoming sequel, I think Special ID fits the bill and it's coming out later this year with hopefully a quick turnaround to Blu. Looks to be a combo of The Raid and more Flashpoint/SPL madness.

I would wait for a good price at Fry's. They eventually sell Well Go USA's movies for between $7.99 and $9.99 on Blu-ray. Even if you don't have a Fry's near you, Best Buy will Price Match Frys.com.
