I was just at videoeta.com and saw that Rescue Dawn (MGM) has been announced for blu-ray. It will come November 20th, day-and-date w/ the DVD.

Great to see MGM get this great movie, which tells a great story, out on HD. The jungle should look fantastic.

I have not seen this movie but I have heard nothing but good things. When will Christian Bale get his due and start to be considered one of the best, if not the best, actor of our generation?

hell yes! when i watched it, it was in a crappy theater and the whole time i couldn't help but think, man i wish this comes out on blu-ray.

I have never seen this movie so it will warrant a rental first and if enjoyed a Blu-Ray purchase.

Didn't have a chance to see this in theaters. I am definitely a big Christian Bale fan though, so this will at least be a rental.

Yes! I can finally see this movie! I couldn't find it in theaters, and the only option to see it is a low quality "screener" via a bit torrent. This is a no-brainer buy for me! These last few months of the years are going to make me broke.

I am happy that they're releasing Rescue Dawn. But I am unhappy that they're region coded (Fox.MGM).

It's tough owning a Region B player. Why won't this idiotic war be over and done with so that everyone can get their movies?

I don't know why it's no longer on Amazon, but several other sites have it including Buy.com for $24 and if you haven't used google checkout yet you can save an additional $10.
