Why cant I get update 1.94 for my PS3? - Blu-ray Forum

I keep hearing on here that the latest system update is 1.94 but when I check for updates it says I have the latest version 1.93. The playstation website does not have the 1.94 update there. Is it out yet and if so where and how can i get it? Thanks!

Right now it is not on the Playstation network, it is only on disc on Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction.

They were saying it was going to come out on the network a couple of weeks after release, but with 2.0 rumors looming around they may not release it as 1.94, just keep it rolled in with 2.0.

don't worry, even tho its on the ratchet disk. it only added rumble support, which is completely useless to us unless you import

the only thing that 1.94 include is DualShock 3 drivers (Since R&C is Vibration compatible), This update will be include in 2.0 when it's released (pretty sure before Jan 8, witch is the first Profile 1.1 movie release)

Well according to the BDA, Sunshine will be the first movie with PiP. So Hairspray will have fake PiP.

mine upgraded to 1.94 when i logged online before playing gh3.just hook up your ps3 online and it will tell ya to upgrade it before logging in

it happened to me btw friday night.

You probably mean 1.93, as people said before, 1.94 is not an online update. The ONLY way to get it is to buy the Ratchet and Clank game as it comes witht he disc.

nevermind my post then,just checked it and it is 1.93

i guess mixing alcohol and gh can be a little too much
