Default Screen Protector PS Vita

I bought this & haven't got it yet in mail. I don't like installing these protective films. I messed up the Sony screen one so I thought I'd give this one a try.

Have any of ya applied a screen protector for your Vita?

Here is what seems like the best YouTube on "how to apply the HORI"

It seems quite thorough. Have any of ya applied this one with success? Thanks!

If you have other recommendations for Vita Screen Protectors, I'm all ears! I'm concerned with trapping dust & bubbles.

My best advice would be to get a piece of tape and use it to get all the dust off the screen then as you're applying if you get dust trapped under the screen protector peel it back and use the tape to remove the dust. Be patient, it'll take a while but when you're finished you won't even notice it on the vita. Good luck

I have that exact protector. The directions included with the protector are some of the worst that I've ever seen in my life. If you follow that video and install in a steamy bathroom (to keep the dust down), you shouldn't have any problems.

I did the whole steamy bathroom thing when I applied mine (full front and back screen protector), and it seemed to work great. I guess it also helps that my Vita is white, so any small bubbles that are there are barely visible.

Messed it up twice but that doesn't even matter with this film.

1.) Had no bubbles.
2.) Had no dust.
3.) Had Plently of scratch marks.

No more crap film PS Vita screen craptectors for me. ugh.

On a side note, HORI PS Vita Silicone Protector is awesome.

Pros,

- Button presses like Power, Select, Start are much easier to find.
- I cut out the portion that covers up the PS light with ease.
- Much better grip & easy to put on.

Cons,

- Barely fits on the PS charging cradle. If you want to charge without taking the Silicone Protector off, you have to cut out the covered PS light covered portion to see the charge light.
- Can't fit in the PS Vita portable tank case with it on,
