This little Bastard arrived today, and I took some pics with my handy. The replica is build with metal and leather, has movable parts, but does not "function"

But: It is someway heavy, solid, and cool.

That is going to be a true collector's item, that's for sure. I'm usually not into paying extra for fancy packaging, but if I ever were to make an exception to the rule, something like this would be it. how are the discs in it, are they all the unrated versions?

Part 1 and 2 are the US Director's Cut Versions, Disc 3 is the "Director's Cut" ( not the normal "unrated cut" released on Blu) and 4 till 7 are "unrated" cuts. Disc 7 is for the first time in german the unrated cut in 3D. Previous 3D releases where cut on German languaged Discs.
So, Except for Disc 3 and 7 I would assume that they are identical to the german languages single disc releases, because it is announced that they contain all previous special features released on german languaged discs.

You have to be careful on that. If it is shipped via amazon.de it should be only the german located cutted versions.
AFAIK Parts 3 to 6 are uncut "indiziert", but the uncut of SAW 7 is "beschlagnahmt" so amazon is not allowed to ship the international uncensored version.
Some marketplace traders announcing the uncut austrian release, but the prices are.. extreme.

The beartrap seems to be limited to 2500 pcs. Spread across DVD and BD releases. But I don't know how many are BD and how many are DVD. Also I am ot sure, if the censored releases at amazon.de are counting in the 2500 pcs.

MrBrown, do you know if this release of Saw III has AVC or VC-1 video and lossless audio? I know DTM lists audio as DTS HD, but sites are often wrong in regards to specs.
I have both the UK Extreme Edition (which has Mpeg-2 video) and the Dutch release (which is 1080i), but I'm not really happy with either. I'm looking for the best release of Saw III Unrated Cut, and I wonder if the Austrian is the way to go. I have the French for the Directors cut.

You'll have to search for it at smaller shops, if searching german languaged shops.
Amazon.de don't sell it, because it is dangerous for the youth and so "indiziert" by BPjM.

Here are some snapshots from the unrated disc. The DC is about 400 km far away atm, because I am at home, and the Final Trap Edition is in the city where I work.

I was thinking about maybe getting it from DTM. I have used them before and know they are reliable, although slightly expensive. It's too bad about the Amazon.de versions being so heavily cut, cause I'm loving the cover art of those. Thank you for the screenshots!

I also use DTM sometimes They sell Movies which are banned from Germany, like "SAW VII", original "Dawn of the Dead", original "Day of the Dead", "Braindead" and so on.

I got the Final Trap Edition there.

hey guys ! really need some help have purchased the final trap on ebay but the details of it are very vague so im waiting for the set to arrive could anyone please tell me what the phsyical differences are between the german (cut ) and the austrian (uncut) versions is there anyway either on the box /packaging/discs which would tell me which one i have when it arrives ......... i searched and searched for days and i have found nothing ....... many thanks rob
