...Great, both the transfer, and the Master used for the latter.

... I gave him a quick look, and even though I have not found information about the source is given for the Master HD, the result and the yield of the Transfer Images in BD is very and decidedly Satisfying.

I do not know ... if it comes from a scan, or an Inter-Positive, I would be inclined more to the latter, because even if I am not mistaken, the Movie was restored some time ago and released with the Master Restored for old edition in dvd.

... In addition, to confirm Apart from that, the audio tracks within the BD, they are all in DD 2.0, including one in English, I will hear him clearly with the latter and with the sub ausilo in Italian.

So ... basically, we have a solid and stable framework, medium-fine grain visible, great detail both on the close ups than on average, very good on totals, filters obviously zero.

The Opera ... shot in 35mm, and the Original AR is 1.37:1, the BD is 1.33:1.
The ... B/W Photography of Hal Mohr (who used the occasion of the special lenses, the Garutso Balanced Lenses) is gorgeous, and from contrast to end with the scale of Gray is all shown in great shape.

In any case, now this Opera has long been (and it is also today) a "Small" Cult, which initiated the era of so-called Biker Movie, banned in the UK for a long time, and also the Triumph diverged from the (apparently ) negative image, that was shown in the film for use of their bikes, and how that is used in the context of a "band" of idlers and petty criminals, rather than as simple (until then was seen as) means of transport, a conveyance.

...The Incipit ... of The Opera, with the voiceover, the fixed camera and the bikes advancing menacingly towards it, is one of the most brilliant of the History of Film Genre, and probably only, worth l ' purchase.

I would say that this Release published by Sony, the so-called line of "Whites" all released in BD June 19 (here in Italy, and 13 June in Germany) , is to be taken with your eyes closed, if we consider that the film is an absolute gem, and the price that is proposed for the sale of BD is ridiculous ...
