The Tower - Any chance of a UK Blu release?

I'm talking about the big Korean VFX action movie from the director of Sector 7. Does anyone know if there are any plans to release this on blu in the UK? Or anyone know of any versions on blu with English subs? I had to pick up the DVD (and loved the movie) so am really hoping for a blu ray release.

Another casualty of Asian movies being swept up by UK distributors, given eff all marketing, generic artwork and sent to die on supermarket shelves. Entertainment One released it on DVD in May. They didn't even release The Man From Nowhere on BD, which is a joke, IMO.

I'm not sure if you're region A capable, mate. There's the Korean version and a US version on the way, apparently.

If not, there aren't really any options, as I don't think the European releases have English subtitles. There might by an Australian release at some point, but this is all pie in the sky, unfortunately.

Thanks for your response Sky Captain. Fortunately I am region free so if a locked US or Korean Blu comes along, I'll definitely go for it. I prefer to get a UK release if possible, but am happy to import if need be. I can't see why this didn't get a blu release as it is a spectacular looking movie and has great visual FX. I'll wait to see what happens.

Apparently the Korean BD also came out in May. (US release is pending)

English subs included, accuracy at your own peril, lol
