I love the first in the series, and a number of the others are tolerable, but the Hellraisers really have the hit ratio of a toddler with a machine-gun.

I agree but I do have some hope for this one. Not much has been shared but what I have seen and read sounds like it could result in a decent film. Nothing at this point will recapture the magic of the original, but I am hopeful that this can come close to Bloodline status.

Doug wasn't in the last one either. the new guy did ok. i hope this one is longer as the last one barely had 70 min of movie. it also didn't show a couple of things that would have been nice to see and flesh the running time out to at least 90 min.

I'm being cautious about this one. It was made simply to keep the rights to the franchise. The last one was one of the worst movies of all time.

Also, it's spelled Judgment.

The new guy is at least different from the Revelations Pinhead, so that's something. We'll see. I'll probably end up at least seeing it.

My bawls ache at how simple it would be to make this franchise viable again. Even if they just did a shot-for-shot version of Clive Barker's Hellraiser comic from 2010, it could be amazing...

Lionsgate is releasing this so it would appear that Lionsgate may have acquired the Dimension franchises.

Hope they find a way to get more copies of "Deader" out there. I know it sucks, but I have the rest of them. I won't pay 100+ bucks to own it though.

I’m mostly excited to see Heather Langenkamp in this. I wouldn’t mind her popping up in a few more projects as an actress. I know her company with her husband does a lot of effects work, especially for American horror story, which made it cool seeing her in an episode.

This is similar to what happened to the long delayed Amityville Awakening. After numerous delays by Dimension/The Weinsteins, Lionsgate released the blu-ray/dvd.

Not sure how the film spells it, but both spellings are acceptable.

Pre-ordered! Didn't know about this one until I read this thread. No matter how bad they are I will always buy these films (along with Jason, Freddy, Michael, Chucky, etc, etc). Been watching horror movies since the 70's as a little kid and will be watching them when I'm 90 years old sitting in my rocker!
